The Precious Metal Department is segregated from other departments. It has the ability to handle high volume and can adapt the arrangement of cleaning and activating to accommodate any base metal. Drying ovens and centrifugal dryers are kept clean and debris free, as not to contaminate plated items.

The department utilizes the above modular unit to interchange electroplating cells with precious metal baths not frequently requested. Among these are Palladium, Rhodium & Platinum.

Parts can either be rack or barrel plated with any precious metal deposit. Indium & Silver plating are performed in the General Plating Department, due to the large volumes of solutions used in these processes.
